What is Reiki Healing?
Reiki is the name given to a system of naural healing which originated in
ancient Tibet and was rediscovered in the 1870s by a Japanese monk named
Mikao Usui. Master Usui developed this system of healing from ancient
Tantric Buddhist teachings after many years of study and meditation. He
spent the rest of his life practicing and teaching Reiki.
Annmarie Fisher, RN is a certified Reiki II practitioner. She will be taking her Reiki Master class/attunement this April from the world famous Reiki master and the founder of Karuna Reiki®, William Lee Rand. Ann is also a member of IARP, the International Association of Reiki Professionals®.
Ann is also a registered practicing nurse working at a nuclear stress testing center in USA. With this medical background she is more aware of medical diseases and disorders of the mind and in a better position to decide when to give reiki to her patients and when to advise medical intervention.
